Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Primary School**
Are you an experienced **HLTA** looking for your next opportunity within a primary school?
Aspire People are currently recruiting confident and proactive HLTAs to support schools across the primary age range. We're looking for someone who can take responsibility, work independently, and provide high-quality support to both pupils and teachers.
This could be an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in their career or an established HLTA looking for a new school environment.
**The Role:**
* Providing whole-class cover when required
* Delivering planned lessons and learning activities
* Leading small-group and 1:1 interventions
* Supporting teachers with planning, preparation, and assessment
* Working with pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 depending on experience
* Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
* Maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning
* Contributing to the wider school team
**We're Looking For:**
* HLTA qualification or significant equivalent experience
* Recent experience working within a UK primary school
* Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
* Confident classroom management skills
* Ability to work independently and take initiative
* Strong communication and organisation
