Primary Class Teacher - Full-Time

Location: Newham, East London
Salary: £3,250 - £4,500 per month
Start Date: Immediate / September
Contract: Full-time

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Newham is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary Class Teacher to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to take full classroom responsibility within a supportive and well-established school. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, promote high standards of learning and behaviour, and support pupils in reaching their full academic and personal potential.

The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their practice within a diverse and vibrant East London school community.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum

Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress

Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents

Requirements

Essential:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting

Strong classroom management and curriculum knowledge

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable:

Experience teaching within KS1 or KS2

Knowledge of phonics and intervention strategies

Experience working in diverse school communities
