Carbon60 are working with a global airline who are looking for a Pricing & Data Analyst to join their commercial team on an initial 5-month contract.
Job Overview
You will play a key part in supporting the airline's transformation from traditional revenue management (RevMan) to dynamic pricing. You will be helping to define key data flows and delivering key data driven insights into the combined revenue management and pricing processes, supporting the continued search for optimal pricing.
Main Responsibilities
Subject matter expert for all data and data flows into and out of pricing and RevMan tools.
Deriving insight from analysis of pricing and other commercial data and business processes to uncover opportunities for improvement.
Working with revenue management, pricing, and sales teams to implement changes identified.
Assist with the design and support trials to prove value of improvements.
Supporting the product development path for revenue management and pricing systems.
Working with other colleagues to test the details of the new pricing tool and changes required.
Identifying and creating key metrics and models to support and measure improvements to the pricing and revenue management processes.
Support the development of new price-products to support upsell and cross sell capabilities.
(No responsibility for day-to-day revenue management or pricing activities.)
Required Experience
Excellent analytical thinking, numeracy, and problem-solving ability.
Ability to source and analyse complex data using tools like SQL and Excel.
Self-starter: able to work on own initiative, make decisions, and implement them.
Experience with revenue management and pricing tools.
Strong communication, influencing, and team working skills.
Please note: an excellent level of written & spoken English is required.
Contract Specifics
Contract Length: 5-months, with the potential for an extension beyond that.
Pay Rate: £450-£500 per day (Inside IR35).
Office Location: West London.
