Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum

About the Role:

As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in maximising margins through strategic price setting. Your expertise in advanced data mining and analysis will directly contribute to the organisation's financial goals. Key Responsibilities:

Perform advanced analytics to identify margin improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
Create, implement, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly margin impact reports, summarising margin issues and proposing solutions.
Analyse both new and existing pricing structures, implementing updates in line with established pricing strategies.
Collaborate closely with sales and supply chain teams to resolve pricing-related issues and initiate necessary adjustments.
Work alongside purchasing and sales leadership to effectively execute defined cost protection methods.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in analytical pricing, purchasing, or finance
Experience as a data analyst in wholesale or retail distribution is advantageous
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Power BI, and Query is preferred for generating accurate and timely analysis.
Strong data mining, aggregation, and analytical skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
