Key Responsibilities
As a Power Press Technician, you will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards of our clients production processes. Your main duties will include:
* Press Setting: Setting up power presses to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
* Troubleshooting Tooling Issues: Diagnosing and rectifying any issues with presses to minimise downtime and ensure continuous production.
* Production Issues Resolution: Implementing solutions for production issues swiftly and effectively to maintain productivity.
* Quality Control: Conducting quality checks to ensure all products meet our rigorous standards and specifications.
* Maintenance and Repairs: Performing regular maintenance and repairs on machinery to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience in Press Setting: Proven experience in setting power presses to achieve desired production outcomes.
* Tooling Troubleshooting Skills: Strong ability to diagnose and resolve tooling issues with presses producing small and intricate brass parts.
* Quality Control Experience: Solid background in quality control to ensure all production meets the highest standards.
* Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive understanding of power press machinery up to 20 tonnes and the associated tooling.
* Problem-Solving Ability: Excellent problem-solving skills to address and rectify production issues promptly.
* Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to identify potential issues and ensure consistent product quality.
