Description:
Recruiting Machine/Press Operators.
Cannock area. Hours 8am - 5pm/ Monday to Friday
Temporary leading to permanent role
Immediate starts
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press machines to fabricate parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and other instructions
- Use basic math skills to calculate dimensions and measurements
- Use hand tools to assemble and disassemble press components
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance on press machines
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Experience:
- Previous experience operating press machines or similar equipment is preferred
- Familiarity with tooling and materials handling in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting abilities
