Description:
Tailor Made Sourcing have exciting opportunities for Press Operators Night Shift to work within this fast paced, innovative company, who offer career progression, as well as ongoing support and training in order to upskill staff members.
Roles and responsibilities:
* To be responsible for the safe operation of the transfer presses.
* To be responsible for the quality of the pressed components, liaising closely with QA.
* To ensure the quantities produced are correct and record the figures on the relevant log sheets.
* To replenish the aluminium strips and feed the new strips into the transfer press, ensuring it is the correct type and size.
* To carry out lubrication/pressing oil checks and replenishment.
* To ensure the removal of aluminium waste is complete. To ensure presses and work areas are clean and tidy. General duties or any reasonable request as required.
The ideal candidate must:
* Must have basic press experience or machine operating experience (minimum of 2 years)
* Have experience within an engineering environment
* Be able to use own initiative
* Be able to work as part of a team
* Be numerate and literate
* Be able to take instruction from peers and managers alike
* Have a good level of English
This is a temp - perm position for the right candidate.
Starting salary:
* £13.75 increase after training and probation period to £15.00.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday 10.00 pm – 6.00 am 8-hour shift
