Actio Engineering Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering manufacturer based in Burnley for an experienced Press Brake Setter/Operator.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful company, working with Amada press brakes. The successful candidate will have previous experience setting and operating press brakes and be committed to producing high-quality components.
The Role
* Setting and operating Amada press brakes.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
* Selecting the correct materials and setting machines to specification.
* Producing components to tight tolerances and quality standards.
* Carrying out first-off inspections and routine quality checks.
* Working to production schedules and meeting agreed targets.
* Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient work area.
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience setting and operating Amada press brakes is essential.
* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Experience working within a precision engineering or fabrication environment.
* Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused approach.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
