Location: Leicester
Hours: Days, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Pay: £15.00 per hour (skill‑dependent)
Join a Growing Fabrication Team in Leicester
We’re looking for an experienced Press Brake Setter to join a busy, well‑established metal fabrication business. If you’re confident with Amada machines, enjoy taking ownership of full setups, and can programme at the machine, this role offers long‑term stability and progression.
What You Will Be Doing
* Setting up Amada press brakes including tooling changes and first‑off checks.
* Programming at the machine to create and adjust bend sequences.
* Reading engineering drawings to produce accurate sheet metal components.
* Running production across varied batch sizes depending on customer orders.
* Carrying out in‑process quality checks (final sign‑off by supervisor).
* Working closely with the fabrication team to meet daily targets.
What Will Need
* Experience with Amada press brakes.
* Ability to complete full machine setup independently.
* Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings.
* Background in sheet metal or fabrication.
* Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
