Press Brake/Guillotine Operator
Temp to Perm, £16p/hr, 38hrs per week, Mon to Thurs, 4pm-12am
LEEDS
Interaction Recruitment are looking for an experienced CNC Press Brake and Guillotine Operator to work for one of their Leeds based clients, in a Temp to Perm role on the 4pm to 12am shift.
You will be required to set and operate 2 different Press Brake Machines and use the Guillotine to produce high quality metal parts. Day to day tasks will include:
-Set up and operate Edward Pearson and Ursviken Press Brake machines
-Liaise with other areas of the fabrication department to ensure work is completed accordingly
-Work from engineering drawings and ensure that all parts meet specifications
-Work with mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel
-Report any drawing or material discrepancies to supervisor
-Produce varied types of jobs ranging from bespoke to batches, both big and small
-Undertake all aspects of folding of sheets metal components
-Manual labour including some heavy lifting
-Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Key skills required for the role include:
-Experience using Bystronic controls would be beneficial
-Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
-Good communication
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Safety, Environmental and Quality awareness
-Proven track record of working with quality initiatives
-A team player who can use their own initiative
You will be required to work 38hrs per week, 4pm to 12am from Monday to Wednesday with a 10pm finish on a Thursday. The Pay Rate will be £16p/hr and the role is advertised as a Temp to Perm position.
