About the Role
Our client, a busy and well-established automotive accident repair bodyshop, is looking for an experienced Paint Prepper / Vehicle Prepper to join their team in Raydon.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled bodyshop prepper / paint technician assistant / vehicle preparation technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality preparation work ahead of refinishing.
You will be working in a fast-paced bodyshop environment, preparing vehicles for paint and ensuring all surfaces are finished to a high standard ready for the vehicle paint sprayer / paint technician.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare vehicles for paint refinishing and spraying
* Carry out masking, sanding, priming, and filler work
* Ensure all surfaces are clean, smooth, and ready for paint application
* Assist paint technicians in maintaining workflow within the bodyshop paint department
* Carry out minor cosmetic corrections where required
* Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail
* Ensure work is completed efficiently within a busy accident repair environment
* Follow health and safety procedures within the workshop
About You
* Experienced Paint Prepper, Vehicle Prepper, or Bodyshop Prep Technician
* Background in automotive accident repair or bodyshop environments
* Strong understanding of vehicle preparation and refinishing processes
* High attention to detail with a focus on quality finish
* Able to work effectively in a fast-paced bodyshop setting
* Team player with good communication skills
