Premises Manager/Assistant Required in Peckham – £110–£160 Per Day
Are you an organised, reliable and practical individual looking for a new opportunity within a school environment?
We are currently working with a primary school in Peckham who are looking for a dedicated Premises Manager/Assistant to join their team.
The successful candidate will help ensure the school site is safe, secure, clean and well maintained, supporting with the day-to-day running of the premises.
The Role
Assist with the general maintenance and upkeep of the school site
Carry out basic repairs and maintenance where required
Help ensure the school premises are safe, secure and well presented
Support with deliveries, setting up rooms and moving furniture/equipment
Carry out regular site checks and report any issues
Liaise with contractors and other staff when required
Support the Premises Manager with the smooth running of the school site
Requirements
Previous experience in premises, maintenance, caretaking or a similar role is desirable
Practical and hands-on approach
Good organisational and communication skills
Reliable and proactive
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience working within a school environment is desirable
