Reviewing tender documentation, engineering drawings, specifications and site information to identify project requirements, constraints and potential risks.
Assisting in the development of construction methodologies, temporary works requirements, technical proposals and project delivery strategies.
Working closely with estimating and commercial teams to support cost planning, tender pricing, subcontractor enquiries and value engineering exercises.
Liaising with designers, clients, suppliers and operational teams to resolve technical queries and ensure proposed solutions are practical and compliant.
Supporting the preparation of tender programmes, risk registers, technical submissions and other pre-construction documentation to meet client requirements and deadlines.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

Previous experience in a civil engineering, site engineering, design or pre-construction role within rail, infrastructure or the wider construction sector.
A good understanding of construction methodologies, engineering drawings, technical specifications and project planning.

A proactive and commercially aware approach, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify practical solutions to engineering challenges.
What's in it for you?

The opportunity to contribute to a varied portfolio of civil engineering, rail and infrastructure projects across Scotland.
A competitive salary and benefits package, reflective of your experience and expertise.
