The Role

As a Senior Pre-Contracts Electrical Estimator, you'll be responsible for managing the full electrical estimating process, producing accurate and commercially competitive tenders across a range of commercial building services projects.

Working closely with the pre-construction and delivery teams, you'll help identify opportunities, manage risks, and ensure tenders are strategically positioned for success.

* Produce detailed and accurate electrical estimates using Ensign estimating software

* Prepare material, labour, equipment and subcontractor enquiries

* Analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure best value

* Identify commercial risks, opportunities and potential value engineering solutions

* Raise RFIs and obtain clarification where required

* Prepare professional tender submissions and supporting documentation

* Attend pre-tender, mid-tender and post-tender meetings

* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors

* Support successful project handovers to the delivery team

About You

You'll ideally have:

* Previous experience working as an Electrical Estimator within the commercial building services or M&E sector

* Strong pre-contracts and tendering experience

* A detailed understanding of electrical installations and estimating principles

* Experience managing tenders from initial enquiry through to submission

* Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documents

* Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail

* Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders

* Experience using Ensign or similar estimating software would be advantageous

What's on Offer?

* £60,000–£75,000 salary (DOE)

* Private healthcare

* 25 days holiday + bank holidays

* Company pension scheme

* Long-term career stability and progression

* Supportive and collaborative working environment

* Opportunity to work on a variety of commercial electrical projects

* Established and respected employer

If you're an experienced Electrical Estimator looking for a role where your technical expertise and commercial input will be valued, we'd love to hear from you.
