Pre Construction Engineer – London – Civils & Structures - £65k
My client are well known as being one of the leading demolition companies in the UK, let alone London. Last year, the company had a turnover of £100m with at least a 10% increase on that predicted this year. They work mainly within London and Home Counties but have worked farther afield than this previously. Not only do they specialise in Demolition, but they also do an awful lot of work in ground works, RC Frames, Rail and general civils, with 85% of their turnover coming from repeat business.
About the role: Due to current workload, and estimated growth in 2019 our client is in the market for a Pre Construction Engineer to work in a team to manage all front operations in southern England. You will be at the forefront of everything technically within the companies Bidding & Tendering stages, closely managing all major projects right through to completion and reporting straight to the Pre Construction Director. You will be required to liase with current clients in a professional manner, maintain good working relationships (75% of turnover being repeat business) as well as developing new business and implementing new working strategies.
About the requirement: Our client is in search for a degree qualified, professional, technically minded Project Engineer / Manager / Contracts Manager with the hunger & desire to move into a Pre construction role with a well respected sub contractor. You must be able to handle pressure, have been in the industry for a number of years and must have good contacts/relationships within groundworks & RC frames
