Are you a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse seeking a fulfilling role in primary care?
We have partnered with a well-established, and forward-thinking Practice in Reading who are excited to welcome a new Practice Nurse to their friendly and enthusiastic team. With a commitment to providing high-quality primary care to a patient population of approx. 14,000 patients, they offer a supportive environment where you can thrive professionally.
Position Details:
* Job Title: Practice Nurse.
* Job Type: Full time/part-time hours available from Monday – Friday
* Location: Reading
* Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 per annum with an extensive benefits package including personal development opportunities plus NHS pension, 5 weeks annual leave + bank holidays, on-site parking and much more.
* Team: Supported by GPs, paramedics, pharmacists, social prescriber, health and wellbeing coach, first contact physiotherapist and our nursing team including HCAs as well as our hard working reception/admin team. Morning coffee breaks to catch up with colleagues are encouraged at 11am each morning.
* High QOF achievement, Good CQC rating, and Emis Web practice who offer patients a full range of enhanced services.
About You:
* Experience: Chronic Disease Management, especially Diabetes, Cervical Smear Screening, Family Planning, Immunisations (Routine, Childhood and Travel) and Treatment Room duties.
* Skills: Excellent communication skills, effective time management, ability to work autonomously and as a team member
* Personal Qualities: Polite, confident, motivated, forward thinker, problem solver, high levels of integrity and loyalty, sensitive and empathetic.
