PPA Cover Teacher

Smile Education is currently recruiting for a flexible and enthusiastic PPA Cover Teacher to work across a welcoming primary school in Birmingham from September 2026. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities and is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and working across different age groups.

The Role:

As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of year groups from Nursery through to Year 6. This is a classroom-based teaching role with no planning required, allowing you to focus on high-quality delivery and pupil engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, pre-prepared lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Adapt teaching styles to suit different age groups and learning needs
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Provide feedback to class teachers where appropriateWhat We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working within a primary school setting
Strong classroom management skills
Flexibility and confidence teaching across multiple year groups
