Hays Education are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Blackpool to recruit a dedicated and adaptable PPA Cover Teacher for a long-term position starting in September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who enjoys variety and is confident delivering engaging lessons across different year groups. The successful candidate will provide high-quality cover across the school, enabling class teachers to access their Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time while ensuring continuity of learning for pupils.
Your new role

Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
Provide high-quality teaching and learning during teachers' PPA time
Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
Effectively manage behaviour and maintain high expectations throughout the school
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Support the wider school community and contribute to school lifeWhat you'll need to succeed

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching across primary age ranges is desirable
Flexible, adaptable, and confident teaching different year groups
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Passionate about delivering high-quality learning experiences for all pupils
