Description:
Kinetic Industrial are recruiting a Powder Coater to join an established metal manufacturing business based in Middleton.
This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for someone with powder coating or metal finishing experience who is looking to secure a permanent position within a busy manufacturing environment.
The role:
- Preparing metal components for powder coating
- Applying powder coatings to metal components using the required equipment
- Inspecting finished products and identifying coating defects
- Maintaining consistent finishing standards and product quality
- Supporting the coating and curing process
- Following work instructions and quality control procedures
- Handling metal components and carrying out manual production duties
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following health and safety procedures and wearing the required PPE
Requirements:
- Experience in powder coating, industrial spraying or metal finishing is desirable
- Understanding of metal preparation and coating processes
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to identify defects and maintain consistent finishing standards
- Able to follow instructions and health and safety procedures
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Physically capable of handling components safely
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Pay and Hours:
- £13.74 per hour
- Day shifts
- Temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent
