Contract: Temp - Perm
Hours: Monday - Thursday
An opportunity has arisen for a Powder Coater for our client, based in Sudbury, Suffolk.
As the Powder Coater your duties will include:
* Prepare metal components for coating, including cleaning, masking, and pre-treatment processes
* Apply powder coating using manual or automated spray equipment
* Operate curing ovens and monitor temperatures and curing times
* Inspect coated parts to ensure finish quality, thickness, and consistency meet specifications
* Identify and rectify coating defects if not in line with our quality specifications
* Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of spray equipment and work areas
* Follow job specifications, work instructions, and production schedules
An ideal candidate for the Powder Coater will have:
* Previous experience in powder coating, paint spraying, or a similar manufacturing environment (preferred but not always required)
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
* Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
* Understanding of surface preparation and finishing processes (advantageous)
