Description:
Please note this is an initial 1 month contract. Due to the nature of the role, a credit check will be required prior start.
Working hours are (phone number removed)pm with an hour for lunch Monday to Friday
* Management and distribution of internal and external mail and parcels, ensuring correct mail reaches the relevant destination and opening of envelopes if unnamed
* Delivering and collection of all mail to relevant departments
Keeping the post room clean and tidy
* Maintain a high level of confidentiality
* To frank outgoing mail and record all special deliveries, ensuring all mail is cleared on a daily basis
* Communicating effectively with internal clients
* To insert letters into envelopes using the inserting machine
* Maintaining stocks of branded headed paper, standard headed paper and envelopes
* To carry out the scanning of invoices
* Courier services
* Keep machine in good working order maintains services are completed to the machines requirements.
* Monitoring the mail room Outlook Inbox
* Management of FM Helpdesk task requests
* Driving the post van between buildings
* Management of stock and supply of stamps
* Management of post room till box
* Flexibility to undertake other ad hoc requests as required
The job holder must have:
* ideally inimum of one year’s experience in a similar environment or customer service environment
* IT literate with Word, Outlook and Excel experience
* Excellent numeracy skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
* Strong customer service skills
* Positive and energetic attitude
* Ability to work under own initiative
* Ability to interface at all levels
* Ability to work to strict deadlines
* Methodical and organised approach to work
* Approachable and committed to team working
* Must hold a full clean UK driving licence
