Possession Support Staff
The Opportunity
Morson Vital are currently recruiting across the Southwest region, covering Exeter through to Cornwall.
The role
Possession Support staff work on the ground to help these planned closures operate safely and correctly.
• Placing and removing protection equipment at designated locations on the railway, following clear instructions and safety procedures.
• Travelling to specific access points and locations along the railway to carry out possession-related duties.
• Communicating with the person managing the possession, confirming when protection has been placed, when tasks have been completed and when equipment has been removed.
• Checking locations and equipment to make sure everything is positioned correctly and reporting any problems immediately.
This is a hands-on, safety-critical role. You will be working outdoors at night and at weekends, often in different locations depending on where engineering work is taking place.
We are currently looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
* Valid UK driving licence
* Willingness to undertake training and development
