Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner

National remit – Home based with travel

North East, North West, Yorkshire, Midlands, East Anglia

My client is a growing provider of high dependency, complex care supported living services, and is looking for an experienced and ambitious Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner to join their team of professionals.

This is a brand new and exciting role for someone to join the organisation. The ideal candidate will be:

-someone with extensive positive behaviour approach experience, able to do functional behaviour analysis and write PBS plans.

-preferably already acheived or working towards a level 4 PBS qualification

-experienced in using both Proact Scipr and MAPA (now known as CPI) behaviour management model/tools.

- able to analyse incidents and ABC events, review existing PBS plans and advise on adaptations.

- experienced in dealing with complex situations, working in partnership with external organisations, families and the individuals you support.

- Understanding of MCA/DoLS, Restraint Reduction, Human Rights, Creating capable environments, Trauma Informed Care, Positive Behaviour Support and Supporting Behaviours of concern

- will be a member of the MDT supporting the operational teams across the country,

This role is home based with travel to sites across the country when required.
