Looking to earn some extra money over the coming months and beyond? dh Recruitment/Driver Hire Plymouth are currently looking for driver's mates and warehouse staff to assist our client's who are based in Plymouth & the surrounding areas.
About the job:
Shifts start usually between 6-8am and each shift is usually between 10-12 hours long depending on the number of deliveries and area being covered.
Night shifts and warehouse work also available.
Pay is between £11.68 and £12.89 per hour, depending on which days you work. (Advanced payroll method inclusive of holiday pay)
You'll be paid by the hour, no day rates with overtime being paid after 8 hours.
The firms we work with operate 7 days a week so we can offer days on/off to suit you.
You'll be delivering a variety of products as part of a two man crew throughout Devon, Cornwall & sometimes beyond.
You'll be paid weekly.
Warehouse work also available.
Driver Hire is a recruitment agency and we offer our work on an ad-hoc basis, however for the right candidates the client may offer full time rota's hours.
Potential permanent roles may be offered for the right candidates.Candidate Requirements:
Customer service skills.
The ability to lift and carry as well as move freely in and out of the truck, in all weather conditions is necessary due to the physical nature of this role.
Own transport would be preferred, however if you rely on public transport it shouldn't be an issue. This is a temporary ongoing position that could lead to full time work for the right candidates.
Please be aware that the advertised pay for this job role is an advanced payroll method, meaning the rate is inclusive of your holiday pay at 12.07%. We are more than happy to accommodate a standard payroll method if you prefer to accrue and take holiday separately.
