PMO Analyst - Strategic Workforce Planning | Defence Programme

Location: Remote Working
Contract: 6 months
Rate: £24 Per Hour Inside IR35
Start: ASAP
Are you a PMO Analyst looking for a new opportunity to support Strategic Workforce Planning on a major defence programme? This is a remote position, offering the opportunity to contribute to a high-profile, complex programme while helping shape how future workforce requirements are understood, planned and delivered.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

·Analysing workforce data including headcount, skills, recruitment trends, turnover and demographics to identify risks, trends and opportunities.
·Developing dashboards, reports and visualisations that provide clear insight for senior decision-makers.
·Supporting multi-year strategic workforce plans aligned with programme and organisational objectives.
·Producing workforce forecasts and running "what-if" scenarios around demand, attrition, productivity, transformation and organisational change.
·Supporting workforce and capability modelling to identify future resourcing pressures.
·Translating complex datasets into clear, concise and compelling recommendations.
·Helping identify appropriate interventions, including strategic recruitment, talent pipelines, reskilling and capability development.

Skills and Qualifications:
·Experience within PMO, strategic workforce planning, workforce analytics, business analytics or strategic planning.
·Strong analytical and quantitative skills with confidence working with complex datasets.
·Strong Excel skills and experience using reporting/visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
·Experience of forecasting, trend analysis, scenario planning or other quantitative modelling techniques.
·The ability to build dashboards and management information that supports effective decision-making.
·Confidence translating analysis into practical, evidence-based recommendations.
·Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
·An organised, methodical approach with strong attention to data quality and governance.
