On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a PMO Analyst on a 12 month contract based in Derby.

Job description - the role

What you'll do:

Improve delivery consistency and predictability: Define and embed standard project management methodologies, templates, and handbooks, ensuring best practice adoption.
Upskill project delivery workforce: Provide training, coaching, and facilitate communities of practice to raise capability across project and programme managers.
Enhance maturity and team satisfaction: Assess P3M maturity, drive capability uplift, and ensure delivery teams feel supported and equipped for success.
Strengthen internal PMO capability: Coach and support PPMO and project analyst teams to improve skills and contribute to a high-performing team.
Align with enterprise capability initiatives: Collaborate with Group PM capability teams to ensure consistency with global standards and leverage best practices.The skills you'll need:

Proven experience in project management or project analysis within a complex organisation.
Strong understanding of P3M methodologies (Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management).
Ability to translate best practice into practical guidance for diverse teams.
Experience in training, coaching, or capability development for project delivery professionals.
Excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills across multiple teams and levels.
Strong analytical skills to assess capability maturity and identify gaps.
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities within a PMO environment.Next steps
