On behalf of our global aircraft modifications client, we are currently recruiting a PMO Analyst Reporting directly to the PMO Manager, your role will involve portfolio reporting, project governance, management presentations, project planning, and continuous improvement efforts, contributing actively to the success of our Programme Management Office. You will also contribute to the transition of our PMO from a governance-centric function to a strategic portfolio management centre of excellence.

Job Title: PMO Analyst
Location: Frimley, Surrey
Employment Type: Contract 6 months, (umbrella inside IR35)
Working time: Mon -Friday only
Package: Competitive hourly Rate, Hybrid (min 3 days a week onsite)

Key Responsibilities

PMO Transformation & Portfolio Support

Assist with the development and implementation of enhanced PMO processes, standards, and templates.
Support the creation and maintenance of the portfolio management documentation.
Gather, analyse, and present portfolio data to inform decision-making.
Contribute towards continuous improvement activities and PMO maturity initiatives.
Support the development and maintenance of the portfolio dashboards, reporting packs, and governance materials.

Project Management Support

Assist the Project Managers to develop and maintain their project plans and schedules.
Track project milestones, actions, risks, issues, and dependencies.
Support project status reporting and progress updates.
Ensure project documentation is maintained and stored appropriately.
Proactively follow up with stakeholders on deliverables and actions.

Governance & Reporting

Prepare weekly and monthly project and portfolio reports.
Assist with governance meetings, including preparing agendas, recording minutes, and managing action logs.
Consolidate project data for portfolio reviews.
Produce management presentations and reporting materials.

Administration & Coordination

Organise meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagement sessions efficiently.
Maintain document repositories with appropriate version control and accessibility.
Support communication and engagement across project teams to ensure alignment.
Assist in the preparation of briefing papers and business documentation as required

Skills & Experience

Essential

Minimum of 3 years' experience supporting PMO functions or similar roles.
Proficient in Microsoft Word (professional documentation) and PowerPoint (executive presentations).
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, tracking, and reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organisational capabilities.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality outcomes on time.
Analytical mindset with a focus for business improvement and project delivery.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Desirable

Familiarity with project management frameworks such as PRINCE2, Agile, or PMI.
Experience with Smartsheet for project tracking, reporting and collaboration.
Competence in creating dashboards and management reports.
Understanding of portfolio management principles and governance frameworks.

Additional Requirements

Eligibility to work in the UK immediately.
