Description:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a SEN Support Assistant to join our PMLD school in Huddersfield. This is a full-time, long-term position and is available ASAP.
The ideal candidate must have experience in working with pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). You will be supporting pupils to access the curriculum, providing personal care and helping the pupils to develop their communication and social skills.
You must be patient and compassionate, with a genuine interest in helping young people with special needs. A DBS check and relevant qualifications are essential.

The minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate of £97 per day
Hours - 08:30 - 15:30EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience of working with students with SEMH, Autism or ADHD - Preferred
Experience working within a school or similar setting
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Safeguarding training is provided)TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional referencesOTHER
