The Opportunity: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PMLD Teacher to join our specialist team. As part of our fully inclusive school, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored education and support to our pupils with complex learning needs.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of PMLD students.
Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress closely.
Collaborate effectively with the PMLD team, teaching assistants, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for students.
Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes independence, confidence, and social interaction.
Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and assistive technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, maintaining open communication and providing regular feedback on student progress.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with pupils with PMLD.
Sound knowledge of PMLD pedagogy, including sensory integration techniques and communication strategies.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Adaptability, resilience, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of pupils with complex learning needs.
