Are you a qualified Plumbing and Heating Engineer with a Level 3 qualification looking to step off the tools and move into a rewarding career in education?

In this role, you will use your real-world industry experience to teach and develop Plumbing and Heating students, delivering a combination of practical and theoretical training up to Level 3.
Candidates coming directly from industry can be considered. If you have a relevant Level 3 Plumbing qualification and the right industry experience, the organisation can support you in developing the teaching and assessing skills and qualifications required to build a successful career in education.
For experienced Lecturers and Assessors, there are also opportunities to continue developing professionally, gain additional qualifications such as IQA and progress within the department.

The Role:
Teach Plumbing and Heating students up to Level 3
Deliver practical and classroom-based training

The Person:
Plumber / Plumbing Engineer / Plumbing & Heating Engineer or similar
Relevant Level 3 Plumbing qualification
Strong practical industry experience
Teaching or assessing experience advantageous but not essential
Experience mentoring or developing apprentices advantageous
Wants to move off the tools and develop a career within education
Confident communicating technical knowledge and developing others
