Plumbing & Heating Lecturer – 3 Permanent Opportunities

Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on hours/FTE
Think FE are working with a well-established further education college in Northamptonshire that is looking to appoint three Plumbing & Heating Lecturers across its campuses.
There are opportunities for experienced FE lecturers as well as qualified plumbing professionals with strong industry experience who are looking to develop their career in education.
Available positions
1 x Full-time position – salary up to £45,000
1 x 0.6 FTE / 3 days per week – salary up to £27,000 pro rata
1 x 0.7 FTE / 3.5 days per week – salary up to £31,500 pro rata These are permanent opportunities within an established further education environment.
The role
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering Plumbing & Heating programmes across Levels 1–3
Providing practical demonstrations and workshop-based teaching
Acting as a course tutor
Supporting learners throughout their programme
Monitoring attendance and learner progress
Completing associated course administration
Contributing to curriculum development
Ensuring delivery remains aligned with current industry requirements What we're looking for
The college is particularly interested in candidates with a Level 3 Plumbing qualification and strong, current occupational experience.

Experienced FE lecturers who have delivered Plumbing Levels 1–3 and have experience teaching and assessing learners.
Qualified plumbers with a Level 3 qualification and solid industry experience who may also have experience teaching, training, assessing or mentoring others.
Experienced industry professionals who have strong occupational competence but have not yet formally taught. If you are confident demonstrating practical skills and interested in working towards teaching and assessing qualifications, you are still encouraged to apply. A teaching or assessing qualification would be desirable but is not essential for the right industry professional.
