Plumbing & Heating Engineer
Location: Doncaster (travel required)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE + company vehicle/package
The Company
Our client is a rapidly growing renewable energy specialist, providing air source heat pump, solar and energy-efficient heating solutions to homeowners across the region. Due to continued growth and an increasing customer base, they are looking to recruit an experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join their team.
The Role
Working as part of an established renewable energy business, you will be responsible for supporting existing customers with servicing, repairs, maintenance and installation works across a range of domestic heating systems.
This is a customer-facing position where quality workmanship and excellent communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnosing and resolving plumbing and heating faults.
Carrying out repairs, maintenance and servicing work on domestic heating systems.
Supporting installations of air source heat pumps and renewable energy systems where required.
Completing remedial and warranty work for existing customers.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry regulations.
Providing excellent customer service and technical advice to homeowners.
Accurately recording work completed using company software and mobile applications.
Working closely with the office-based support and technical teams.
Skills & Experience Required
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer, Plumber or Heating Engineer.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
Experience working within domestic properties.
Full UK driving licence.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Desirable Experience
Air Source Heat Pump installation or maintenance experience.
Solar thermal or solar PV knowledge.
Renewable energy industry experience.
Relevant industry certifications including Water Regulations, Unvented Hot Water or Heat Pump qualifications.
