Are you an experienced Commercial Plumber or Pipe Fitter looking to join a growing and well-established mechanical contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial installation projects across London?

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a skilled Commercial Plumber / Pipe Fitter to join their installation team, working on a variety of commercial and industrial projects including offices, healthcare facilities, education buildings, retail developments and public sector schemes.

The Role

Working as part of a dedicated installation team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of plumbing and pipework installations on commercial projects throughout London.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring all Health & Safety policies, risk assessments and method statements are adhered to at all times
• Reviewing project requirements and planning installation activities
• Installation of commercial plumbing and pipework systems
• Supervising small teams of operatives and specialist subcontractors when required
• Coordinating works with other trades and site management teams
• Ensuring all works comply with current industry standards and regulations
• Managing quality control and maintaining high installation standards
• Delivering works in line with agreed project programmes and deadlines
• Maintaining a professional and organised approach on site
• Using and maintaining a comprehensive toolkit

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants should possess:

✔ NVQ Level 2 Plumbing & Heating (Essential)
✔ NVQ Level 3 Plumbing & Heating (Highly Desirable)
✔ Minimum 5 years' experience working as a Commercial Plumber or Pipe Fitter
✔ Strong commercial and industrial installation experience
✔ Full UK Driving Licence
✔ Eligibility to obtain a CSCS Card (existing card preferred)
✔ Ability to work independently and supervise others where required
✔ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

The following would be advantageous but training can be provided:

• SSSTS or SMSTS
• IPAF
• PASMA
• First Aid at Work
• Asbestos Awareness
• Fire Marshal Training

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary: £47,000 - £57,000 DOE
