Description:
Synergy Personnel Ltd are looking for a Plumber to join a maintenance team, based in Portsmouth, Hampshire. This is a temprary to permanent postion. After a 12 week probationary period you will be employed by the client. This a PAYE role. Successful candidates will benefit from holiday pay, paid bank holiday and a company pension scheme.
The ideal candidate will have not only their main trade as a Plumber but will also have proven experience undertaking a variety of jobs within a reactive maintenance environment.
Responsibilities and Duties, reporting to the Supervisor, your duties will include but not limited to:
* To diagnose and carry out the right repairs within the customer’s specifications and scope of contract (quality, time and cost) on each and every job.
* Undertake all aspects of repairs/maintenance work (in line with your skills matrix) to the required quality standards.
* Assess the work requirements when you get to site.
* Diagnose and carry out the right repair(s), right first time.
Working Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 17:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
The ideal Plumber will be able to display the following:
* A full, clean driving licence.
* Previous plumbing experience working on social housing contracts or undertaking domestic repairs.
* Understanding of PPE/Health and Safety requirements
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise accordingly
Experience with Unvented hot water systems would be an advantage along with an NVQ/City & Guilds
