Band 5 - £17.69 - £25.07 per hour (shift dependant)
Working 12 hour shifts - 7am - 7pm on a 4 days on, 4 days off rota
(this will include some weekends & nights)
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust are looking for a pro-active and hardworking plumber to work as part of the Estates and Facilities team at Queens Medical Centre. The role would suit someone who holds a level 2/3 NVQ qualification in plumbing or has a minimum of two years' experience working in the field.
As a plumber in the NHS, your work includes but is not restricted to:
* Planned maintenance and inspections
* Repairing equipment that is broken or faulty
* Testing equipment and systems
* Improvements and installations across the trust
You could be working alongside other estates services staff such as electricians, carpenters, and bricklayers.
You'll have the following skills/experience:
* An NVQ Level 2 qualification in plumbing or has a minimum of two years' experience working in the field
* NHS experience is desirable but not essential
* A driving license is required as travel to City Hospital maybe required from time to time
* Excellent customer service
* Excellent communication skills
