Are you an experienced Plumber looking for a new challenge?
Becky at JT Recruit is looking for a qualified Plumber to join our Estates team at an NHS Trust in Huntingdon ASAP for a short-term temporary contract.
Estates plays a crucial role in keeping our hospitals and services running. From essential power, heating, plumbing and mechanical systems, to the inside and outside of our buildings and grounds, Estates staff make sure these are safe and well-maintained for patients, visitors, and other staff
Plumber main duties
Your duties will cover a range of maintenance work including planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, specialist testing, fault finding and repair of equipment and installation work.
You will diagnose faults, carry out repair and maintain the building engineering services, plant and equipment.
You will be required oversee others on fault-finding, repairs, maintenance and installation of complex plant, equipment and buildings belonging to the Trust.
Day-to-day you'll use be responsible for repairing and maintaining heating, hot and cold water, and plumbing systems across the hospital site. As part of the friendly and highly experienced Operational Team, you'll also support other Estates colleagues - including managers, technicians, engineers, and those with other trades.
If you can demonstrate that you have completed a structured training program in heating or plumbing for a minimum period of 3 years, then apply today.
You’ll be asked to send your BTEC National Certificate or Diploma or Advanced Modern Apprenticeship (NVQ level 3 with key skills) in Heating and Plumbing, and if you have IOSH Working Safely or AP Trained would be advantageous but not essential.
This is a temporary post for a minimum 3 months, ASAP start, hours are Monday – Friday 08.00hrs-16.30hrs
