PLM Systems Admin – Manufacturing – Hybrid – IM3367

Salary: c£25-35k

Job Term: Full Time, 12 month, Hybrid with 3 days onsite

Job Outline:

We are currently seeking a PLM Systems Admin to join an outstanding engineering team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Severn Beach, Bristol.

As a member of the Business Systems team, you will participate in all aspects of software development, including analysis, design, coding, and testing. Additionally, you will be involved in operations, including supporting delivery to a global customer base, and internal stakeholders.

Developing software in a variety of contexts, you will be responsible for the ongoing administration, operational maintenance and feature development of the business-critical platforms including, CPQ, PLM and ERP Platforms.

Assisting with the operational support of existing products, you will debug issues within the software and provide clear communication to customers on resolutions and updates.

Where necessary, working with the sales and engineering teams, you will support customers, to resolve issues.

Developing knowledge of the product and asset portfolio, you will gain an understanding of customer needs, design patterns and technologies, and coding.

With your understanding of modern best practices in software engineering, you will apply the methods and practices that are effective for the specific context, including lifecycle models, architecture, design patterns, version control and documentation.

Experience:

You should have a proven track record in one or more languages, frameworks and technologies and version control such as Git.

In addition, you should have experience developing on Windows.

Experience in one or more of the following is desirable: C#, .NET, WPF, C++, XML real-time control systems, embedded, firmware/PLC (e.g., B&R), interfaces (RS232/RS485/Ethernet), MS Visual Studio, Jira/Azure DevOps/GitLab/GitHub, SECS/GEM, , Kanban, RUP

Qualifications:

As the successful PLM Systems Admin, you will have a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or a related discipline.

Additional Information:

Candidates MUST be eligible to live and work in the UK. Copies of Passport and Visa will be requested for verification.

You should be prepared to visit the main UK offices in Bristol as and when required.
