Salary: £14.25 - £14.50 per hour

Are you enthusiastic, caring and able to create a positive environment where children can learn through play?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Flying Start setting in Newport, providing a supportive environment for children aged 2 - 4 years. The setting is focused on giving young children positive early experiences through engaging, age-appropriate play and activities.

The setting is looking to take on a Playworker on a part-time basis, working Monday to Friday from 2:45pm - 6pm with an ASAP start. The successful Playworker will support children aged 2 - 4 years, helping to provide a safe, engaging and positive environment while encouraging their learning and development through play.

The successful Playworker will have:

Level 3 qualification relevant to childcare or playwork
Experience working with children aged 2 - 4 years
A caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children
Strong communication skills
A good understanding of providing a safe and engaging environment
A flexible and positive attitude
