Play Maintenance Technician

Description:

Connect2Luton are excited to recruit a Play Maintenance Technician on behalf of Luton Borough Council.

Main purpose of position:

To work within a team to ensure the maintenance of equipment in Luton's Play areas and a range of parks infrastructure.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible to:

Implement actions identieid through play facility inspections
Use power tools and specialist equipment e.g drills, welding, grinding
Install maintain and clean park infrastructure e.g benches and bins
Undertake and record condition inspections
Undertake daily routine safety and maintenance checksSkills and Experience:

Experience of undertaking similar technician/maintenance duties
Experience of using a range of fixed and portable hand tools
Able to prioritise and organise workload
Able to add, subtract, multiply and make calculations
A good understanding of Health and Safety as relates to the role
Able to walk across uneven ground whilst undertaking duties
Able to operate a range of equipment and machinery
Ideally hold a full driving licenceAbout Us
