Plater - Cheltenham - Surface Finishing OR Manufacture Assembly OR Engineering OR Production Engineering
This is an opportunity to grow your career in the production side within the Aerospace/Aviation industry.
You will be responsible for the electrical circuitry and Surface Finishing for Chromium, Nickel and Cadmium. You will be responsible for ensuring that all tools and fixtures are aligned to tooling designs and preparing components during the plating process.
This position will offer training on mapping of CMM, Plating, COSHH and various Aerospace components/Metals for further career development within their MRO site.
To be successful you will need to have:
*An engineering Background OR a Plating Apprenticeship OR experience in a hands on engineering role within the Aerospace/Aviation industry.
*Good communication, problem solving skills and team working skills
Desirable:
*An understanding of Lean Sigma disciplines
*NVQ in Engineering
