Position: Plater
Location: Drax, Selby
PAYE Pay: £1700/week Gross
Hours: 10-12hr shifts, Mon-Sun
Start Date: 24.06.24
Duration: 3-4 weeks
The Role:
Our client has a requirement for Platers for a shutdown on a power station in Selby, from 24th June for 3-4 weeks. Duties will include:
- Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
- Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
- Repairing heat distorted steel plate
- Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs
Requirements:
- CCNSG card
- NVQ / City & Guilds qualification
- Experience of working on industrial sites ie power stations, refineries, steelworks
