PLASTIC FABRICATION MANAGER
We are recruiting an experienced Plastic Fabrication Manager to join a well established plastic moulding and fabrication company in Hull. This is a Permanent Vacancy, offering a starting salary of £35,000 - £40,000 (dependant on experience).
Shift pattern / Working hours
Monday to Thursday 8am - 6pm

The Plastic Fabrication Manager role is a Permanent position that will commence with immediate effect however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this.
Job description
As a Plastic Fabrication Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations in a key leadership role that requires strong organizational and managerial skills. Day to day you will be expect to;
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with other teams to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Conduct regular 1-2-1s and provide feedback for professional development
Programme and use the CNC machine
Programme and use the Vacuum Forming machines
Trouble shooting and fixing CNC, Vacuum Forming and Bandsaw machines
Carrying out assembly work
Oversee inventory management and procurement processes
The successful candidate:
To be considered for the position of Plastic Fabrication Manager you must have;
· Experience in Vacuum forming
· Experience in programming and using a CNC machine
· Previous experience working in an operations management role or similar
· Have strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
· Exceptional organisational and time management skills
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
