We're looking for a professional and safety-focused Class 1 Low Loader Driver to join an established and highly respected brand within the UK plant and machinery sector. No two days are the same. One day you'll be delivering excavators and heavy plant to a major infrastructure project, the next you'll be transporting specialist machinery to a customer site, representing a brand that is recognised throughout the industry.
The Role
As a Class 1 Low Loader Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe transportation, loading and unloading of construction plant and machinery throughout the UK.
Working closely with customers, site managers and internal teams, you'll play a vital role in ensuring equipment arrives safely, on time and ready for work.
Key Responsibilities
* Transport construction plant and machinery using specialist low loader equipment
* Load, secure and unload a range of heavy plant safely and efficiently
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with transport regulations
* Plan routes and deliveries to maximise efficiency and customer satisfaction
* Complete all relevant transport and delivery documentation accurately
* Represent the business professionally on customer sites
* Maintain high standards of safety, vehicle care and presentation
What We're Looking For
* Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Experience operating low loaders and transporting plant machinery
* Strong understanding of load securing and transport compliance
* Professional and customer-focused approach
* Excellent safety awareness
* Experience with construction plant or heavy haulage operations desirable
* Loading and unloading plant machinery experience advantageous
