We're looking for an experienced Anaerobic Digestion Plant Manager / Site Manager who lives within a commutable distance, or a genuine relocator.

About the role:
Astute's Renewables Team is partnering exclusively with a key business and influential player in the UK Anaerobic Digestion market. The company are seeking their first Site Manager to join them and with the plant currently in the construction phase, this is a very rare and unique opportunity to join a large plant from the very beginning of its existence.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Operations Director you will:

Have full accountability for the site; its compliance, profitability and managing all operational aspects on a daily basis
Managing the site effectively to promote a positive, health and safety focussed culture
Liaise with all relevant governing bodies when necessary and deal with any escalations
Communicating tasks, responsibilities and expected levels of performance to the team
Developing and maintaining relationships with influential key, internal and external stakeholders
Manage the Environmental Permit and its conditions, the Odour Management Plan and all relevant certifications for the site
Ensure PAS110 and spreading compliance
Attend safety management meetings when necessary
Be very commercially aware with overall management of incoming feedstock and biogas yield
Other duties are required
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

A higher education in a relevant engineering discipline is preferable
Experience in Anaerobic Digestion and if not, a very similar process
Excellent, demonstrable experience in managing teams
UK driving licence
