Plant & Fleet Mechanic Required - Aberdeenshire ????
First People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Plant & Fleet Mechanic to join a well-established civil engineering contractor based in Netherley, Aberdeenshire.
This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Fleet Manager, with responsibility for maintaining the company's plant, fleet vehicles and equipment.

???? Plant & Fleet Maintenance
The Role:
Carry out servicing, repairs and planned maintenance on company plant, fleet vehicles and equipment.
Diagnose faults and ensure machinery and vehicles remain safe and serviceable.
Complete preventative, planned and routine maintenance in line with servicing programmes.
Attend company sites when required to inspect and repair equipment.
Complete relevant maintenance records and paperwork.
Check calibration, inspection and PAT dates where applicable.
Report defects and maintenance issues to the Fleet Manager.
Work safely in line with company procedures, risk assessments and relevant legislation.Requirements:
✔ Formal qualification in vehicle and/or plant repair.
✔ Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
✔ Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
✔ Good communication and organisational skills.
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
✔ Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload.
✔ Experience with hydraulics, electrics, minor fabrication and welding would be advantageous.
