DK Recruitment are recruiting for a Plant Fitter on behalf of a well-established construction and plant hire business. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to work on a wide range of heavy plant and construction equipment, carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs to keep machinery operating safely and efficiently.

The Role
* Service, maintain and repair a range of construction plant and equipment.
* Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
* Complete inspections and ensure equipment meets safety standards.
* Accurately complete job sheets and maintenance records.
* Work efficiently to minimise equipment downtime.
* Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Plant Engineer, Heavy Plant Mechanic or Construction Equipment Technician.
* Strong knowledge of construction plant such as excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, rollers, loaders or crushers.
* Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions and electrical systems.
* Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
* Relevant engineering qualification
