Location: Exeter (mobile across the South West) Rate: Competitive
We're looking for a Mobile Service Engineer based out of Exeter depo to service and maintain construction plant across the region.
What You'll Do
Routine servicing and checks
Fluid top‑ups and preventative maintenance
Fault reporting and basic repairs
Prep machines for hire
Fit replacement parts
Support bigger repairs when needed
Optional: install GPS, cameras and safety systems (training provided)
What You Bring
Solid mechanical knowledge
Understanding of RAMS
Able to work alone or with the team
Good communication and time‑management
Proactive and uses initiative
Essential
Right to work in the UK
Full driving licence
Beneficial
Heavy plant experience
Hydraulic systems knowledge
NVQ Level 3 in plant maintenance (nice to have)
