Description:

Applicant needs to have knowledge of heavy plant repairs, also knowledge of hydraulics electrical system and welding and burning would be advantageous. NVQ level 2 in Engineering Maintenance and or equivalent.

Carry out breakdown maintenance on company plant and equipment.

Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on company plant as per manufactures instructions.

Assist in carrying out repairs onsite as required by company.

Keep all maintenance records up to date and tidy as per company's maintenance procedure.

Look after all workshop tools and equipment ensuring they are all in serviceable condition and secured at the end of the day.

Keep workshop area clean and tidy.

Identify and source items required for maintenance and repair of company's plant and equipment.

Have basic knowledge of electrics on 12 & 24v dc systems including fault finding.

Basic knowledge of 3 phase electrical systems.

Basic knowledge of fabrication plus different welding techniques.

Work safely at all times.

Maintaining plant records.

Training junior fitter.

Salary depending on experience. Working hours Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 17:30 Friday 8:00 - 16:00
