Plant Automation Engineer

Location: Leeds

Salary: Up to £30k per annum

Metalis are working with a specialist manufacturing company in the Leeds area who are looking to add a Plant Automation Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role:

Work alongside the Manufacturing/Automation Engineering team
Identifying and leading continuous improvement projects
Improve Automation and scrap reduction.
Industrial robot programming
Developing fixtures and tooling in CAD.
Improve the daily operational metrics of our business.

The Person:

Professionally Qualified Engineer (HNC or BEng degree)
Competency to evaluate hardware design, including I/O, PLC's, Industry 4.0
Proficient in 3D CAD
Capex proposals, Standard working procedures, training documents

The Details:

Permanent vacancy
Circa £30k per annum
