Description:

We have an exciting new opportunity for a PLANNING ENGINEER on The Decommissioning Alliance (TDA) at Sellafield site in West Cumbria.

About the role:
Required to cover M2 Flasks task, and provide support to existing VSI planner where workload and number of sub-task delivery schedules has increased.
The role is to include Pre-RFQ/RFQ development, production and agreement of cost & resourced P50 schedules, weekly/monthly progress updates, adherence to NEC 3 contract, baseline management, change control and weekly/monthly reporting.

Initial task order responsibilities:
0.5 FTE - M2 Flasks Task (new task order).
0.5 FTE - Value Stream Improvements (TO-157).
The role will cover planning support to LIVE TDA Tasks, support to RFQs, FY schedules/control estimates, OUSCB, scope development propositions and future TDA task orders.

Required Skills & Experience:
Proficient in use of Primavera P6 including critical path analysis, application of project/activity coding, resource & cost loading, resource levelling and data extraction.
Construction planning experience.
EPC contract experience.
NEC3 contract planning experience (Option A, C and E).
Ability to cost & resource P50 schedules in accordance with approved estimates.
Earned Value Management (EVM) experience, including methods of progress measurement.
Understanding of remaining units, actual cost, cost at completion in Primavera P6.
Understanding of Rules of Credit and Quantity Tracking methods.
Understanding and application of make ready processes, such as the Sellafield IWM process and/or the Last Planner system.
Understanding of Change Management processes and procedures.
Application of Baseline Management in alignment with approved change control.
Understanding of Risk Management processes and procedures.
Exposure to client facing role, including project reporting requirements.
Ability to work effectively as part of an integrated team.

Desirable Skills:
Sellafield site experience.
Nuclear decommissioning experience.
Legacy Ponds & Silos experience.
P4 Pass Holder.
SC Cleared.
